Description

For those who havent seen the last posting, I was starting a series of new works with watercolor titled "The Bearded Zodiac". I will present my version of each sign by mixtures of bearded and references that I find cool, some publicly known and others not so much, but combine that with my idea, and that's what matters. ;)
Today I present to you "Taurus", the bullfighter /matador of the 12 zodiacal bearded.
So I thought the sign of Taurus immediately relate it to the Spanish culture and wanted to be able to submit a guy that was bull and bullfighter at the same time (because it bullfighter stabbed swords in their own back)
I used shades that made ​​reference to the country and also remember that sand and blood, two things that lead me to bullfighting.
And as a model /inspiration a guy who reminded me that "what" the matador, the @rickirodrigues that besides good friend is a bearded that need respect. hehe

Para quem ainda não viu a postagem passada, iniciei uma série de trabalhos novos com aquarela intitulada "O Zodíaco Barbudo". Apresentarei minha versão de cada signo através de misturas e referências de barbudos que acho legais, alguns conhecidos publicamente e outros nem tanto, mas que combinam com minha ideia, e isso é o que importa. ;)
Hoje apresento a vocês "Touro", o toureiro/ matador dos 12 barbudos zodiacais. Assim que pensei em touro imediatamente fiz esse link com a cultura espanhola e queria poder apresentar um cara que fosse touro e matador ao mesmo tempo (por isso as espadas típicas desta atividade espetadas nas suas próprias costas)
Usei tonalidades que fizessem referência ao país e também que lembrassem areia e sangue, duas coisas que me remetem a touradas.
E como modelo/ inspiração um cara que me lembrou esse "quê" de matador, o @rickirodrigues que além de bom amigo é um barbudo de respeito. hehe
